The TNA IMPACT tapings on March 22 featured two surprises. Read on if you wish to be spoiled.
TNA held the first night of their latest television tapings at the 2300 Arena on March 22. Per fans in attendance, Steph De Lander made her return to the company at the tapings.
De Lander did not come alone, as Matt Cardona made his return as well. Cardona interfered in De Lander’s match and helped her. The duo has been paired together on the independent scene and other companies for the last year.
Cardona is a former TNA Digital Media Champion. He made a one-off return in the Call Your Shot Gauntlet at Bound For Glory in October. Before that, he last wrestled for the company at their television tapings in January 2023. Cardona made his debut at Hard To Kill 2021 and had a prominent run with the company. In addition to his title win, he reunited with Brian Myers.
De Lander previously competed at the company’s television taping in January 2023. She then wrestled at the two IMPACT Down Under shows in Australia last summer.
