A challenge has been laid out.
During the March 12 episode of WWE NXT, Trick Williams appeared live in the ring to address the actions of Carmelo Hayes at NXT Vengeance Day.
Williams ran down his history with Hayes and recalled questioning if Hayes was the one who attacked him months ago. Now that everything has played out like it has with Hayes ultimately turning his back on him, Williams has officially challenged the former NXT Champion to a singles match at NXT Stand and Deliver.
Before Williams could leave, Meta Four interrupted as Noam Dar announced he wants to steal the hype because there’s “nobody hotter than you right now.” Trick then said, “Look at the way Lash looking at me, I think everyone agrees.”
Lash Legend interjected on the mic and warned Trick that he needs to listen to what Dar is trying to say. As the faction entered the ring, Dar officially laid out the challenge for a match next week and then a brawl broke out.
When Legend tried to throw a punch, Trick spun her around into an embrace and kissed her in the center of the ring to a huge reaction from the fans in attendance. In the end, Williams cleared the ring as Meta Four retreated while stunned.
