WrestleMania 40 will be extra special for Seth Rollins.
The World Heavyweight Champion has competed at several WrestleManias throughout his decorated career. He technically wrestled in the main event at WrestleMania 31, where he cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase during Roman Reigns’ match with Brock Lesnar. At WrestleMania 40, Rollins will headline the opening night, as he and Cody Rhodes will face Roman Reigns and The Rock.
At the WWE live event on March 10, Seth Rollins addressed the crowd and noted that he considered the tag team bout his first WrestleMania main event.
“We are how many days away from WrestleMania? 27 days from WrestleMania,” Rollins said. “I got something I want to tell you guys. I know I had that big cash-in at WrestleMania 31 and I kind of snuck my way into the main event. But this year will be what I consider my first WrestleMania main event. [Crowd chants you deserve it]”
WrestleZone will have coverage of WWE RAW as it airs on Monday.
