Drew McIntyre has gone from mocking CM Punk to quoting him.
In recent weeks, Drew McIntyre has been feuding with World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins. On the March 4 episode of WWE Raw, McIntyre called Rollins a spotlight junkie.
In a tweet, Drew McIntyre sent another message to Seth Rollins. This time, he wrote, “What did I ever do in this world to deserve an empty-headed, **** dumb **** like Seth Rollins to go out on national TV and go into business for himself. This was a direct nod to CM Punk’s infamous rant at the AEW All Out 2022, where he took several heated shots at Hangman Page and The Elite.
McIntyre has repeatedly mocked Punk since the former WWE Champion went down with a torn triceps in the 2024 Men’s Royal Rumble. The meme he made about Punk’s injury was even turned into a shirt.
At WWE Elimination Chamber, Drew McIntyre won the Men’s Elimination Chamber to earn a shot at Seth Rollins’ World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 40.
