Mazzerati is a professional wrestler who has competed in some of the top promotions. She had competed in promotions such as Ring of Honor, GCW, TNA Wrestling, and also AEW. Recently she shared that she was successfully completed two years abstaining from alcohol.
Mazzerati took to Twitter to share a heartfelt message to the fans highlighting the fact that she is two years sober.
“Today marks 2 years no Alcohol?#blessed My reflection on my addiction with drugs and alcohol (read below)⬇️⬇️⬇️,” Mazzerati tweeted.

While sharing the message, the former OVW Women’s Champion mentioned that she was addicted to alcohol and other substances for over two decades.
“Yooo!!! Today marks 2 years, NO ALCOHOL!!! For the ones who know me know me. I drank 20 years of my crazy wild life. Had to drink and be high off something everyday day.”
Mazzerati had been shot at and had a tough time in her teenage
“I’m 33 now and at the route I was heading, I never thought I’d make it even past 18. Iv had multiple times alcohol poisoning drinking the days and nights away. I have OD’d on Meth. Lucky my dad came innat the right time and saved my life that night.
“I’ve been shot at, and gun held to me multiple times, shanked, jumped and left for dead by skinheads. Where I was from, I hated being black, lost, broken, and pretty much no family. I didn’t care to live, I was on a path to nowhere and very fast trying to be a thug with my gangster friends. I barely turned 15 when I was left on the streets with just the clothes on my back and a cell phone.”
Wrestling saved Mazzerati’s life twice
“Wrestling has saved my life when I was a little girl, and it saved me again now. Big thank you to my Foster mom, who literally save me from the streets, and I am not 16 years clean from meth. Thanks to wrestling, I am now 9 years clean from coke, pills, X, ciggs. I quit the minute I started training.
“Thanks to god for giving me the strength and power to get out of the darkness and start finding my way out. This isn’t for sympathy but to enlighten those who are stuck and feel they can’t make it out of what they are going through. Sometimes, you just need one person to shine their light so others can see and find their way out of the darkness.
“I am soo freaking proud of myself. im literally tearing writing this. I have overcame addiction, and so can you. It doesn’t matter where you are in life. It’s never too late to change the outcome of your story. #Blessed,” Mazzerati said.
