UFC’s Michael Chandler shares his bold prediction for WWE WrestleMania 40.
UFC fighter Michael Chandler appeared in the crowd on the February 19 episode of WWE RAW and called out Conor McGregor. Fans have started wondering whether the appearance was building up something for the future. While there is no word on Chandler’s future in WWE, his WrestleMania 40 prediction is sure to spark some buzz.
Speaking with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, Michael Chandler shared his belief that The Rock will win the gold at WrestleMania.
“I got The Rock taking the title,” Chandler said. He’s coming back to shock everybody. Al the doubters, all the naysayers, all the crybabies, The Rock is about to put an ass-whooping on all of them.”
Barrasso noted that Chandler believes that The Rock will work his way into the world title match. However, Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns is set to defend the gold against Cody Rhodes, and The Rock has aligned with Reigns.
