A new report provides an update on when Will Ospreay may be joining AEW full-time.
Will Ospreay was announced as AEW’s new signing at AEW Full Gear in November. However, he agreed to finish up his commitments with NJPW before he joined the company. Ospreay’s final NJPW match came at NJPW New Beginning in Osaka on February 11. He is set to face Michael Oku in his last independent match at RevPro High Stakes on February 18. After that, he would be free to come to AEW.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that the plan has been for Will Ospreay to wrestle at AEW Revolution on March 3.
Likewise, speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said Will Ospreay is scheduled to wrestle at AEW Revolution, so he might show up on the February 21 episode of AEW Dynamite to set up a match.
