It’s our first year of the partnership, and we’ve been able to some really exciting things working with them, and very excited to bring the CMLL wrestlers to Las Vegas this weekend [for AEW Collision].

Khan was also asked whether he still sees a heavy NJPW presence at a potential Forbidden Door 3. He made it clear that there will be a Forbidden Door 3, and AEW’s partnership with NJPW is still going strong.

“Yes, 100%,” he said. “There will be a Forbidden Door 3. The AEW/New Japan partnership is 100% here to stay, and Forbidden Door, a collaboration between AEW and New Japan, here to stay.”
