It is safe to say that one of the most popular factions in all of professional wrestling is The Acclaimed. The team comprises of ‘Platinum’ Max Caster, Anthony Bowens, and ‘Daddy Ass’ Billy Gunn. The three stars are the current AEW World Trios Champions. They defeated The House of Black at the AEW All In London pay-per-view to capture the said titles.
Recently, Bowens shared a clip on Twitter of a new baseball bat. The bat’s significance is that it is a tribute to The Acclaimed and their signature catchphrase ‘Scissor Me’.
“The brand new Acclaimed SCISSOR ME bat is coming my soon courtesy of @VictusSports ?✂️,” Anthony Bowens tweeted.
Following the reveal, Bowens also mentioned that it will be available soon on Victus Sports. He then shared a clip of him practicing batting as well.
“I’m your favorite baseball player’s favorite player and I drop BOMBS ? @KingofJUCO is a bitch, see you next week ✂️?⚾️,” Anthony Bowens tweeted.
Anthony Bowens takes credit for the design for the Acclaimed’s AEW Trios Titles
After winning the AEW Trios World Championships from The House of Black, The Acclaimed showed off their brand new titles on AEW Dynamite. During an interview on the In The Kliq podcast, Anthony Bowens revealed that the new look for the belts was his design. He also mentioned that it was a ridiculous design but it was approved and the championships were created.
“Yeah, so we do create a lot of the stuff that comes out. Then we also have an awesome design team over at Pro Wrestling Tees that will design some stuff and send it over to us. We’ll either make some adjustments to it or give the final approval, and then it comes out. But the title belt was my idea.
“A couple of months ago, I sent out a ridiculous design to the front office. And they ran with it, and they created those beautiful custom titles,” Anthony Bowens said.
