It doesn’t seem Kamille to WWE is as cut and dry as it once appeared to be.
In recent weeks, it was reported that the former NWA Women’s World Champion had been offered a WWE NXT contract, and the expectation was that she would be heading there. But with new reports earlier this week revealing that Kamille was backstage at AEW Dynamite on January 17, some things might have changed.
According to Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp (via Fightful Select), while Kamille did initially go to the show to see some friends since she’s local to the area, she did end up speaking to “several people of influence” while at the show.
What this means for her free agency status is anybody’s guess. But as of January 19, Sapp reports that the former NWA Women’s World Champion is still a free agent and hasn’t signed with either company.
