Nic Nemeth has crossed the line!
Nemeth appeared at the conclusion of the TNA Hard To Kill pay-per-view. He ran into the ring and attacked Moose, the new TNA World Champion, after his match with Alex Shelley. Nemeth took Moose out after a superkick and a Zig Zag, then he ran into the crowd and celebrated.
WWE released Nemeth, formerly Dolph Ziggler, in a wave of cuts on September 21, 2023.
Nemeth showed up at New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s Wrestle Kingdom 18 last week. Matt Cardona also called him out for a match in GCW, and now it looks like TNA is the latest company to acquire the former WWE World Champion’s services.
TNA also announced Nemeth’s first match will be at the Snake Eyes taping on January 14. Nemeth will face off with Zachary Wentz of The Rascalz.
During an interview with Busted Open Radio, Nic Nemeth discussed going to NJPW and how Jon Moxley helped him in making that decision.
“I was thinking about that for a long time, going different places for the last few years, especially focusing on ‘what do I want to do for the next move?’” Nic Nemeth said. “That’s been for a few years, working out a plan. I heard so many different things from Ambrose [Jon Moxley] and different guys saying, ‘You need to see what this locker room feels like.
“You need to see, being here.’ I was like, ‘Man, I wonder if…can I adapt to this?’ I feel like I can adapt to anything. Can I? You do a little homework and bounce around and you go, ‘This would be something really special.’”
