If there is one name that is loved and respected by fans, critics, and fellow wrestlers alike, it is The Undertaker. For the majority of his career, the WWE Hall of Famer portrayed a scary character. He was the Phenom, the one that instilled fear in his opponents. But were there any moments that were scary for the Deadman? He recently shared some of them with his fans.
During the most recent episode of the Six Feet Under With Mark Calaway podcast, The Undertaker was answering questions sent to him by his fans. The Deadman mentioned that one of his scariest moments was during the infamous Hell in a Cell match against Mick Foley.
The WWE Hall of Famer mentioned that he almost crippled Mick Foley.
“I think probably the scariest moment was when Mick went through the Cell. When I Choke Slammed him through it. Not when I threw him off, but when I choke-slammed him through the cell. The way that he landed. I was legit like, ‘Come on, please move,’ because I didn’t know that he was going to. That was pretty tense there for a little bit.
“And I’m thinking the worst because of just the way that it looked from my perspective. From my perspective, it looks like he landed on his head. And regardless of the reason why or how, in my head, it’s like, ‘You’re the one that just chokeslammed him through it.’ So if he doesn’t get up, all those things are already going through your mind like ‘Are you going to be the guy that crippled Mick Foley?’ Yeah, that was pretty gnarly,” The Undertaker said. Undertaker also mentioned that his match against Goldberg in 2019 was another scary moment.
