Former champions will collide at TNA Hard To Kill.
On January 3, former IMPACT World Champion Josh Alexander took to Twitter to challenge Alex Hammerstone to a match at TNA Hard To Kill.
TNA Wrestling subsequently confirmed the match for the pay-per-view.
Hammerstone is a former MLW World Heavyweight Champion, and he had been one of the company’s top stars. He entered free agency on January 1, as his deal expired at the end of 2023. As reported by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select), Hammerstone asked for his release earlier in the year, as his contract had more time left on it, and they reached an agreement that would see Hammerstone work a few more dates before he entered free agency.
