Oba Femi has earned a shot at the gold.
On the special “New Year’s Evil” episode of WWE NXT, Oba Femi defeated Riley Osborne to win the Men’s Breakout Tournament. In doing so, he earned a contract for a title shot.
In the closing moments, Femi blocked a Shooting Star Press. He hit a snake eyes before he tossed Osborne and powerbombed him for the victory.
Osborne defeated Lexis King in the semi-finals to advance. Femi beat Tavion Heights in the semi-finals to punch his ticket to the last match in the tournament. He defeated Myles Borne in the opening round.
Lola Vice previously won the 2023 Women’s Breakout Tournament. Roxanne Perez won the lone Breakout Tournament in 2022. Carmelo Hayes won the competition in 2021. Jordan Myles won the first Breakout Tournament in 2019
