Two matches have been announced for the January 3 episode of AEW Dynamite.
Tony Khan took to Twitter to announce that Daniel Garcia will take on Swerve Strickland on Wednesday. Both stars scored wins at AEW Worlds End on December 30. Strickland beat Dustin Rhodes, and Garcia got the pinfall in the All-Star Eight-Man Tag Team Match. The two buzzworthy competitors will look to begin 2024 with a statement victory on Wednesday.
Additionally, Queen Aminata was announced as Mariah May’s opponent in her AEW in-ring debut.
Plus, TNT Champion Christian Cage will give his 2024 State of the Union following his victory at AEW Worlds End.
As previously announced, Orange Cassidy will defend the AEW International Championship against Dante Martin.
