WWE is reportedly planning on bringing in a noteworthy name for NXT New Year’s Evil.
Dragon Lee was set to team up with the LWO to face No Quarter Catch Club on Tuesday. But on January 1, Lee announced that he would miss the show due to visa issues. He also teased that the LWO would have a big surprise.
Corey Brennan of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that Carlito is at the NXT taping on January 2, and he was preparing to compete. Per Brennan, he is Lee’s planned replacement in the six-man tag team match.
