Bayley is one of the top talents in WWE. She is a Grand Slam Champion in the Stamford-based promotion. With her about to complete a decade in WWE, a video has resurfaced on the internet.
A fan recently posted on Twitter one of the former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion’s first promo segments at the Performance Center. It was in 2013. During the promo, Bayley got emotional and also stated that she wanted to be the best wrestler in the ring and in the WWE.
“Vince called it the mirror? Vince McMahon? Oh, that’s… So… What I want to do in the WWE? I wanna be the best, I wanna be the best wrestler, I wanna be the best performer, I want to be the best at everything Byron [Saxton] talked about in promo class,” Bayley explained. “I wanna connect with people the way I felt ten years ago. [Starts getting emotional]. I don’t want to just be the best in the ring, I don’t want to just be the best in the weight room.
“I want to be the best in the locker room. For the girls that come after me, the girls that have questions, the girls that need help, I don’t want to be the best to say that I am better than you, I’m better than her. I want to be the best that I can be because this is the only place that I ever wanted to be. Watching Xavier Woods debut on Raw last night, brought me back to that feeling. And I want to one day make everyone feel what I felt watching him make his debut. Thanks Byron,” Bayley said.
