Mance Warner explains why he turned on Effy.
Warner shocked the wrestling world when he turned on Effy at GCW Highest on the Room 2. The two GCW stars had teamed together many times, but now Warner has seemingly opted to go down a different path.
On December 20, “The Southern Psycho” explained his actions in a video he posted on social media.
“Why, Mancer, why? How could you turn on your family?” Warner said. “Effy, we sat in a hotel room over a year ago and I looked at you and told you, ‘We’re the superstars of GCW. We should be running this company. One of us should be the champ.’
“I knew when I looked into your eyes, man, you didn’t have what it takes to do what I did. Last time I looked, family don’t pay bills. Violence does.”
