Riho is back.
During the December 6 episode of AEW Dynamite, Toni Storm defeated Skye Blue to retain her AEW Women’s World Championship. But after the match, Storm came face-to-face with the inaugural champion Riho, who made her intentions known by eyeing Storm’s title.
Riho hasn’t appeared on AEW programming since the April 12 episode of AEW Dynamite when she and Skye Blue came up short to Toni Storm and Ruby Soho. Riho also competed in a six-woman tag team dark match in June but hasn’t competed anywhere since August.
Riho became the first AEW Women’s World Champion in October 2019 when she defeated Nyla Rose on the premiere episode of Dynamite. She later lost it to Rose in early 2020 and has continued to make appearances for AEW, STARDOM, and Singapore Pro Wrestling.
