Hangman Page reappeared on the December 6 episode of AEW Dynamite following his loss to Swerve Strickland in a Texas Death Match at AEW Full Gear in November.
Renee Paquette caught up with Page in a backstage interview where Page reflected on his feud with Strickland and how Strickland invaded his home. Page conceded that he did lose on pay-per-view despite interference, however he is not done with Strickland yet.
AEW World Champion MJF then interrupted as the interview was being conducted outside of his locker room. Page attempted to leave, noting that MJF would take up 30 minutes of their time talking. MJF then referred to Page as a “talentless white trash hick” and reminded Page that he beat him to win the Dynamite Diamond Ring a few years ago in one of their few encounters
MJF then accused Page of being The Devil, to which Page called MJF a manipulator and also accused him of being the devil. Samoa Joe finally interrupted and stated that MJF is his responsibility now. Joe told MJF they have other issues and they walked away together.
