Christian ran away, and Sting picked up a win in his final match in Los Angeles.
Ric Flair was in the corner of Sting, Adam Copeland and Darby Allin for their match against Christian Cage, Nick Wayne, And Luchasaurus at AEW Full Gear. Copeland sported paint on haf of his face, a sign of solidarity with Sting and Darby.
In the end, Christian ended up running away after getting caught trying to cheat. Copeland caught him trying to use his title, and Christian ended up hightailing it out of the ring. Copeland then scored the pinfall on Luchasaurus after Darby hit a Coffin Drop.

In the closing moments, Flair chopped Cage before Cage thumbed him in the eye and hit a low blow. Cage then tried using his title in the ring but was chased off by Copeland. Allin landed the Coffin Drop on Luchasaurus, allowing for Copeland to score the pinfall win. This was Sting’s last match in California and he embraced his son at ringside after.
