WWE SmackDown‘s preliminary viewership increased on November 17.
According to Programming Insider, 2.23 million viewers watched the show on Friday night, and it drew a 0.59 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The preliminary viewership is up from last week’s episode, when 2.090 million viewers tuned in. The demo also rose from last week‘s episode, which drew a 0.52 rating in the same demographic.
Update: Wrestlenomics reports that 2.206 million viewers watched SmackDown on Friday, and the show drew a 0.62 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. This marks SmackDown’s highest viewership since October.
SmackDown was up against AEW Collision on Friday night. AEW Collision was bumped to Friday due to AEW Full Gear airing on November 18.
What happened on WWE SmackDown this week?
This week’s show kicked off with Damage CTRL, and a women’s WarGames match was announced for Survivor Series. Charlotte Flair, Bianca Belair, and Shotzi needed to find their partner by the end of the show.
The Street Profits won a triple threat match against Pretty Deadly and The Brawling Brutes to earn a shot at the WWE Undisputed Tag Team Titles.
LA Knight was also in action and picked up a win over Jimmy Uso. The Bloodline attacked Knight after the match but was saved by Cody Rhodes.
The close of the show witnessed Becky Lynch joining Flair, Belair, and Shotzi’s WarGames team against Damage CTRL at Survivor Series.
