All Elite Wrestling delivered a star-studded episode of AEW Dynamite on November 8.
MJF defended the AEW World Championship against Daniel Garcia. Plus, Keith Lee challenged Samoa Joe for the ROH World Television Championship. Elsewhere on the show, Sting and Darby Allin faced The Outrunners, and Jay White clashed with Mark Briscoe.
Tony Schiavone kicks off the shoe and interviews AEW World Champion MJF, who tells Jay White to savor his win last week because it won’t happen again. Adam Cole calls MJF and tells him he’s worried about him. Cole says that MJF needs to take Samoa Joe up on his offer. MJF says he doesn’t need Samoa Joe, and he’ll take care of business himself. Daniel Garcia confronts MJF. MJF says he sees himself in Garcia and wants to give him an opportunity to prove himself. Garcia says that MJF will face a wrestler tonight. Roderick Strong and The Kingdom roll up. MJF blows him off. Strong says it’s time to remind everyone who he is.
AEW World Championship: MJF (c) vs. Daniel Garcia (with Matt Menard and Angelo Parker)
MJF and Garcia lock up and feel each other out. The champion gains an early advantage. Menard and Parker cause a distraction, and MJF and Garcia both get back to their feet. MJF and Garcia continue to battle for positioning. MJF asks Garcia for a handshake and thumbs him in the eyes. He slams Garcia and targets his arm. MJF keeps controlling the action. He slams Garcia into the turnbuckles and maintains the advantage. Garcia fires up with a series of strikes. He dumps MJF with a German suplex. Garcia gets a two-count with a Brainbuster.
Garcia floors MJF with another suplex. MJF hits Garcia with a shoulder-breaker and gets a two-count with a DDT. Garcia blocks the Heatseeker but gets rocked with a kick. Garcia kicks MJF’s knee. He spikes MJF with a piledriver. Garcia locks in the Dragon-Tamer. MJF transitions into the Salt of the Earth and makes Garcia tap out.

MJF offers Garcia a handshake. Menard and Parker stop him from shaking it. Garcia tries again, and Menard and Parker get in his way again.
A video package hyped up Mark Briscoe’s match with Jay White.
Darby Allin & Sting vs. The Outrunners (Turbo Floyd & Truth Magnum)
Allin starts the bout and gets double-teamed by The Outrunners. Sting tags in and punches Floyd with Allin. Sting clotheslines him to the outside. Magnum slams Allin into the barricade. Sting fights off both Outrunners. Sting and Allin take control. Sting scores the win with the Scorpion Deathlock.
Winner: Darby Allin & Sting
Tony Schiavone sat down with Toni Storm and AEW Women’s World Champion. Toni Storm says the spotlight belongs to her. Shida and Storm sign the contract for their title match at AEW Full Gear.
Swerve Strickland (with Prince Nana) vs. Penta El Zero Miedo (with Alex Abrahantes)
Swerve and Strickland square off and trade fast-paced offense. Strickland gains the upper hand. Penta chops Strickland, who fires back with a chop of his own. Strickland pulls on Penta’s tongue. Penta drops him with a backstabber. Swerve drills Penta with an uppercut and slams him onto the steps. Penta nails Strickland with a kick. He dives onto Swerve at ringside. Strickland rallies and takes control. The two competitors trade blows. Swerve counters Made in Japan.
Both men drill each other with a number of strikes. Penta drops Swerve with two Slingblades. He slams him to the mat for a two-count. Penta drops Swerve with a destroyer on the apron. Swerve hits a stomp over the top rope. Penta snaps Swerve’s arm. Swerve counters the Fear Factor and hits a Death Valley Driver. He snaps Penta’s arm and hits the Swerve Stomp for the win.
Winner: Swerve Strickland
After the bell, “Hangman” Adam Page comes out and attacks Strickland with a chair. He slams him off the stage and through a table.
Backstage, Jay White sends a message to MJF and says he has always been better than him. White says he is truly elite, and he’ll show that tonight.
A video package hyped up the feud between The Don Callis Family and Kenny Omega, Chris Jericho, and Kota Ibushi.
The Young Bucks confront Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega and express their frustration that Omega hasn’t been there for him. Jericho says they all started the revolution together, but the Bucks say Jericho came in after they already did. Jericho says he and Omega could beat The Young Bucks. Matt Jackson challenges the two of them to a match. Jericho accepts and says that if they win, they get their title shot. Matt says that Jericho and Omega will have to break up if they lose. Omega says the Young Bucks have been acting like whiny children. Jericho says he’ll happily beat their “spoiled asses.”
ROH World Television Championship: Samoa Joe (c) vs. Keith Lee
Joe and Lee feel each other out early on. Joe drops Lee with a shoulder tackle. Lee fires back with one of his own. Joe and Lee trade blows. The champion takes control with some jabs. Lee drops Lee with a crossbody block. They brawl at ringside. The two powerhouses continue to duke it out in the ring. Lee takes charge with a flurry of strikes. Joe catches Lee with a knee-breaker. He grounds Lee and targets his leg. Joe drops Lee with a boot. Lee counters a senton and suplexes Joe.
Joe trips up Lee and locks in the Coquina Clutch. Lee fades and passes out, and the referee calls for the bell.
Winner and still ROH World Television Champion: Samoa Joe
After the bell, Joe calls himself the greatest ROH World Television Champion of all time. He says he is hungry, and he vacates the title because he wants more. He vows to win the AEW World Championship.
Backstage, AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy, alongside HOOK, sends a message to Jon Moxley and says he needs to beat him in order to be the champion that he knows he is.
The Gunns (Austin & Colten Gunn) with Juice Robinson) vs. The Bollywood Boyz (Harv & Gurv Sihra)
The Gunns immediately hit 3:10 to Yuma for the win.

Colten Gunn says they, not MJF, are generational talents. Austin says MJF is an embarrassment as a champion. He says the only friends MJF has left are the fans. Austin says the titles will go back to a real tag team at AEW Full Gear.
Samoa Joe approaches MJF backstage, and he walks away.
Backstage, Jon Moxley has a message for Orange Cassidy. He says this is about the laws of nature, and he has to set the example for Wheeler Yuta, like Orange Cassidy has to set an example for HOOK. Moxley says Cassidy doesn’t deserve to get to AEW Full Gear, and Cassidy can bring anyone he wants. Yuta calls out HOOK and says he crossed the wrong crew.
In a vignette, Wardlow reflects on his journey up to this point and blames MJF for his potential being squandered. He says MJF’s days at the top are coming to an end.
Julia Hart vs. Red Velvet
Julia Hart and Red Velvet battle back and forth. They’re evenly matched early on. Velvet drills Hart with some body shots. Hart dumps Velvet in the corner. She takes control and grounds Velvet. Hart slams Velvet on the ramp. The two stars continue to battle back and forth. Hart rocks Velvet with a kick and stomps on her. She hits a moonsault for the win.
Winner: Julia Hart
Hart attacks Velvet after the bell, but Skye Blue comes out after the match. Kris Statlander and Willow Nightingale come down as well.
RJ City introduces Mariah May, who makes it clear that she is now in AEW. She notes that Toni Storm inspired her to go to Japan, and now she’s here.
Jay White’s World Title Shot On The Line: Jay White (with Bullet Club Gold) vs. Mark Briscoe
White and Briscoe battle back and forth. Mark dives onto the Bullet Club Gold members at ringside. They interfere, but Mark fights them off and throws Juice Robinson into the Gunns. Mark goes for a dive onto the group, but they move, so he lands hard on the floor. White gains the upper hand and grounds Briscoe. He slams him into the turnbuckles. Mark knocks White off the ropes and hits a diving dropkick. They trade blows. Mark lights White up with a series of strikes.
White drops Mark with a dragon screw. Briscoe fires back with a Death Valley Driver. He gets a two-count with the Froggy Bow. White slams Mark to the mat. He gets a two-count with another slam. Mark turns the tables with an exploder suplex. Mark goes for the Jay Driller, but White counters. Jay dumps Mark with a suplex. White gets a two-count with a Brainbuster. Briscoe counters the Bladerunner but gets floored with a sleeper suplex. White spikes Briscoe on his head and hits the Bladerunner for the win.
Winner: Jay White
MJF sneaks up behind Bullet Club Gold and attacks them. MJF is left alone with Jay White. White escapes. MJF grabs a microphone and tells him that playtime’s almost over. He says White will have to get in the ring with the real champion. MJF says White will have to kill him to beat him. He says he’s fighting for Adam Cole and the fans. MJF asks White whether the leader of the Bang Bang Gang will pull the trigger at AEW Full Gear.
The lights go out. The Devil’s attackers gang up on The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn backstage. Bowens gets tossed through a window. The Devil appears on the screen, and MJF is shown in the ring. MJF runs to the back.
He finds The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn down and out. Samoa Joe walks up to MJF and laughs.
