If you’re attending the MLW Fusion tapings in Philadelphia next month, you’ll be able to witness a crazy match live.
Major League Wrestling announced on their official website this afternoon that the MLW Fusion tapings on November 18 will host the first-ever Thumbtacks Pit of Death Match between Jimmy Lloyd and Cannonball.
While there isn’t much to go on regarding what we’ll see from this match, MLW’s website described the match as: “25,000 thumbtacks will be poured into a pit as anything goes in this match!”
This television taping will occur on the same night as Major League Wrestling’s next premium live event, Fightland.
The current card for this dual event at the 2300 Arena is as follows:
- MLW World Heavyweight Championship: Alex Kane (c) vs. Jacob Fatu
- Loser Leaves MLW: Matt Cardona vs. Mance Warner
- Lucha Rules Tag Team Match: Rocky Romero and Bárbaro Cavernario (w/ Salina de la Renta) vs. Ichiban and Máscara Dorada
- Thumbtacks Pit of Death Match: Jimmy Lloyd vs. Cannonball
- World Titan Federation (Tom Lawlor and TBA) (w/ Mister Saint Laurent) vs. The Bomaye Fight Club (Mr. Thomas and O’Shay Edwards) (w/ Alex Kane)
