MLW Fusion Results – October 19, 2023
This week’s episode of MLW Fusion kicked off with a video package recap of MLW Slaughterhouse from last Saturday night.
Ichiban defeated Love, Doug
- Ichiban hits Love, Doug with Ichiban Kai to score the pinfall victory.
Love, Doug is interviewed on the stage following his loss. He’s interrupted by one of B3CCA’s backup dancers, who hands him a card with a heart on it. Doug teases that B3CCA might be able to attend one of his future matches.
Filthy Tom Lawlor is backstage. Tom Lawlor says a corrupt referee cost him his match against Alex Kane at MLW Slaughterhouse. Lawlor says he’s worked for a lot of scumbags all over the world, but Don King is worse than any of them. Lawlor announces that he’s signed on with the World Titan Federation and will help rebuild Major League Wrestling in the form of sports entertainment.
It’s announced that Tony Deppen has been suspended by Major League Wrestling.
A video package plays of the Second Gear Crew in the woods. 1 Called Manders hypes up his match against Matt Cardona later on tonight.
Another video package announces that Miyu Yamashita is coming to Major League Wrestling.
Mister Saint Laurent is backstage. MSL says Matt Cardona is the crown jewel of the World Titan Federation. MSL says 1 Called Manders will regret turning down the World Titan Federation when he steps into the ring with Cardona later tonight.
Bomaye Fight Club (Mr. Thomas and O’Shea Edwards) defeated The Mane Event
- Mr. Thomas hits a one-handed spine buster on Jay Lyon to score the pinfall victory for his team.
Strong words from Alex Kane towards Matt Cardona on MLW Fusion
MLW World Heavyweight Champion Alex Kane is in Atlanta. Kane says this isn’t sports entertainment or the home of the superstars. Kane says MLW is combat sports and Matt Cardona came into his house and disrespected him.
Alex Kane says Cardona tried to f*ck with him, his people, and his company. Kane says he won’t have that because he suplexes and taps out hoes in Major League Wrestling. Kane says he’ll continue to take on all challengers for his title.
Mance Warner is outside of the building and is basically looking for weapons to use against Matt Cardona and the World Titan Federation.
Salina de la Renta announces that due to ongoing legal troubles with another wrestling company, Court Bauer won’t be at the show next week. Salina says she’ll be the Executive Producer of next week’s show.
Matt Cardona (w/ MSL) defeated 1 Called Manders
- Matt Cardona hits Radio Silence on 1 Called Manders to score the pinfall victory.
Cardona cuts a promo on the stage and announces that he’s still undefeated and is taking over Major League Wrestling. Mance Warner runs out and he and Cardona brawl as MLW Fusion goes off the air.
