The Cavinder Twins’ Agent Says They Are In ‘Deep And Heavy Conversations with WWE’

The Cavinder Twins are still in talks with WWE, according to their agent.

Hanna and Haley Cavinder were announced as members of WWE’s inaugural NI class in December 2021. In April, the college basketball stars announced that they were forgoing their fifth year of NCAA eligibility. They started to train at the WWE Performance Center, and the duo appeared on the June 6 episode of WWE NXT. But on October 13, Haley announced that she was entering the transfer portal in order to return to college basketball in 2024.

Speaking with Colin Salao of TheStreet, The Cavinder Twins’ agent, Jeff Hoffman of Everett Sports Marketing, commented on their partnership with WWE.

“We’re still in deep and heavy conversations with WWE,” Hoffman said. “We were out the training facility a few months ago. We were discussing upcoming trainings.”

Salao noted that Hanna has “graduated” from the WWE NIL program, but Haley’s return to basketball could change her status. Additionally, Hoffman stated that the twins’ opportunity to work with WWE is still viable, and the details need to be “ironed out.”

Haley Cavinder’s Return To Basketball

Additionally, Hoffman discussed Haley’s decision to return to basketball.

“This is about passion and sport and competing, and recognizing that that clock is finite,” Hoffman said.

Hoffman also noted that “nothing would be lost” in terms of business with Haley’s return to basketball. Among other examples, the Cavinder Twins have partnered with Jake Paul and Betr, his sports betting company.

In the interview, Hoffman stated that Haley could potentially support women’s basketball after her collegiate career in various ways, possibly as an investor or as part of a team.

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
