Josh Barnett says he lives for fights like the one he had at AEW WrestleDream.
At AEW WrestleDream, former UFC Heavyweight Champion Josh Barnett wrestled in an AEW ring for the first time. Claudio Castagnoli defeated him in a hard-fought match on the Zero Hour pre-show. Barnett grabbed a microphone after the bell and praised Castagnoli before he stated that he wanted a rematch.
Barnett took to social media and shared his thoughts on the match. He made it clear that Castagnoli was everything he hoped to face and more. After expressing his gratitude to AEW, Barnett stated that he and Castagnoli will meet again.
“Claudio was all I hoped to find in the ring and even more so; arguably more than even he knows lies still within him,” Josh Barnett said. “Fights like these are something that will get me grab my boots and travel to any corner of the globe. I live for it.
Thank @AEW for providing such field of battle for us to wage war. It was a pleasure and doubly so to do it in my hometown.

Fans will have to wait and see when and where a potential rematch between Barnett and Castagnoli will take place.
