The wrestling world was in total shock after former WWE United States Champion Matt Riddle was released from the Triple H-led promotion. He has recently teased fans about something new coming soon.
Over the past couple of weeks, there have been several talents released from World Wrestling Entertainment. People were convinced that the reason behind the releases was because of the merger between WWE and UFC forming the TKO group. However, recent reports would indicate that Riddle had heat for his on-air and off-air behavior.
Recently, the Superking of Bros, took to Twitter to tease a new project that is going to come soon.
“Coming soon,” Matt Riddle teased.
Fans are guessing what it could be, but Riddle hasn’t given any update on it as of yet.
Over the past couple of years, Riddle has gained a lot of popularity. His run with 14-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton as RK-Bro was something that fans still talk about.
Riddle has held a few championships during his run in WWE. He has held the NXT and WWE Raw Tag Team Championships on a few occasions. The former WWE Superstar has also captured the United States Championship once.
The Super King of Bros took to Twitter on September 22 to announce that he was no longer with the Stamford-based promotion.
“Just wanted to inform everyone that I’m no longer with WWE. Thank you for the memories and opportunities also thank you to all the fans for the support and love you give me every time I go out to the ring. See you all soon,” Matt Riddle tweeted.
