Ring of Honor Results – September 28, 2023
This week’s episode of Ring of Honor Wrestling on HonorClub kicks off with some in-ring action.
Josh Woods (w/ Smart Mark Sterling) defeated Brayden Erving
- Josh Woods hits Tilt-A-Woods on Brayden Erving to score the pinfall victory.
The Mogul Embassy is backstage. Prince Nana says he doesn’t want to answer any spicy questions. Nana puts over The Gates of Agony and Brian Cage, and he says The Mogul Embassy is back on track. Brian Cage says they are sick and tired of taking a backseat to people in Ring of Honor, and that all changes tonight.
Scorpio Sky defeated Tony Nese (w/ Smart Mark Sterling)
- Scorpio Sky hits Tony Nese with the TKO to win the match via pinfall.
Gravity defeated Lee Johnson
- Gravity hits Gravity Falls on Lee Johnson to score the pinfall victory.
The Outrunners are backstage. The Outrunners hype up their match later on in the show against Darius Martin and Action Andretti.
Billie Starkz (w/ Athena) defeated Lady Frost
- Billie Starkz hit the Starkz Clash on Lady Frost to score the pinfall victory.
Athena attacks Lady Frost after the match is done while Billie Starkz looks on. Starkz eventually stops Athena and gets screamed at for it in the process.
Allysin Kay is backstage. Kay talks about her match tonight with Mercedes Martinez and admits that she knows she’s on a losing streak, but she’s not going down without a fight.
Darius Martin and Action Andretti defeated The Outrunners
- Action Andretti and Darius Martin hit a double-team move on one of The Outrunners to score the pinfall victory.
Griff Garrison is worried about getting released
Griff Garrison is backstage. Garrison is confronted by Cole Karter and Maria Kanellis over what happened in their tag match last week. Garrison says this tag team has to work because his old tag team partner is no longer here. Griff says he wants to do things the right way. Maria and Karter agree and walk away.
Leyla Hirsch defeated Laynie Luck
- Maria Kanellis watches the match from the stage. Leyla Hirsch locked in a cross-arm breaker on Laynie Luck to win the match via submission.
Hirsch calls out Athena following the match.
Mercedes Martinez and Diamante are backstage. Martinez says she’s wrestled Allysin Kay before, but in Ring of Honor Kay continues to lose and tonight will be no different.
Shane Taylor (w/ Lee Moriarty) defeated Jimmy Jacobs
- Shane Taylor hits Welcome to the Land on Jimmy Jacobs to secure the pinfall victory.
Maria Kanellis is backstage and is confronted by Leyla Hirsch. Hirsch doesn’t understand why Maria keeps coming out on the stage during her matches. Leyla says she does great on her own and she’s been undefeated in singles action without her help. Hirsch says she went to the Board of Directors and has her match with Athena next week.
Dalton Castle and The Boys defeated Ren Jones, Trenton Tormenta, and Xavier Walker
- Dalton Castle hit the Bangarang on Xavier Walker to score the pinfall victory for his team.
Cole Karter and Griff Garrison (w/ Maria Kanellis) defeated The Infantry (w/ Trish Adora)
- While Trish Adora is preoccupied with Maria Kanellis, Cole Karter rolls up Carlie Bravo with his feet on the ropes to win the match for his team.
Don’t interrupt Ethan Page’s interview time
Ethan Page is backstage. Page talks about the current winning streak that he’s on. Page is interrupted by Rohit Raju who will be his opponent later on tonight. Ethan says he’s going to kick Raju’s ass tonight as quickly as possible.
Mercedes Martinez (w/ Diamante) defeated Allysin Kay
- Mercedes Martinez hits a DDT variation on Allysin Kay to pick up the pinfall victory.
Billie Starkz is backstage. Lexy Nair informs her that Athena helped her win the match. Athena shows up and continues to yell at Starkz and questions if she needs more minion training. Athena says she will make an example of Leyla Hirsch next week and set an example for this family.
The Gates of Agony (w/ Prince Nana) defeated The Iron Savages (w/ Jacked Jameson)
- The Gates of Agony hit Open The Gates to score the pinfall victory.
Ethan Page defeated Rohit Raju
- Ethan Page hits the springboard cutter on Rohit Raju to win the match via pinfall.
Brian Cage (w/ Prince Nana) defeated Metalik
- Brian Cage hits Metalik with the Drill Claw to score the pinfall victory.
Prince Nana and Brian Cage celebrate the win as Ring of Honor Wrestling goes off the air.
