Liv Morgan Confirms She Is Out With An Injury

Former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Liv Morgan confirms that she is injured.

Morgan has not wrestled since the July 17 episode of WWE RAW. There, she and Raquel Rodriguez lost the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship to Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville. Rhea Ripley then took Morgan out with a vicious beat-down on the July 25 episode. After the attack, WWE announced that Morgan was taken to a local medical facility for further evaluation.

Speaking with Muscle and Health, Morgan confirmed that she is out with an injury while discussing her diet.

“It took me a while to fully understand that proper fuel makes for better athletic performance. I know that’s common sense, but to have the willpower to act on that at 2 am when you’ve got a 4-hour drive to the next show is really difficult,” Liv Morgan said. “The only places that are open are fast food outlets a lot of the time. I’m actually out injured right now and aside from healing up, my focus has been on my nutrition, so it’s been really exciting honing in on that.

“I want to come back in the very best shape of my life, so right now, I am eating clean, tons of fresh fruits and veggies. I’m basing my carb intake on the amount of physicality and energy I expend each day. I do believe life is about balance, though, so I still order a cheeky little dessert with dinner sometimes.”

Liv Morgan Recently Dealt With Another Injury

Earlier in 2023, Liv Morgan suffered a torn shoulder injury. She was sidelined in May, as she suffered the injury during the May 12 episode of WWE SmackDown. There, she and Rodriguez retained their WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship by defeating Bayley and Dakota Kai. Morgan then made her return on the June 23 episode of SmackDown.

Morgan and Rodriguez beat Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler to regain the gold at WWE Money in the Bank before they lost the titles to Green and Deville.
