Liv Morgan has suffered an injury that will keep her from defending her WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships.
The news was confirmed during the May 15 episode of WWE RAW, with Adam Pearce revealing that Morgan was injured during the May 12 episode of WWE SmackDown. There, she and Raquel Rodriguez successfully defended their titles against Bayley and Dakota Kai.
Morgan is one-half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions with Raquel Rodriguez. The pair were scheduled to defend the titles against Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville on Monday, but the match was postponed, as Morgan was not cleared to compete.
After Pearce confirmed Morgan’s injury, the former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion tweeted a picture of her and Rodriguez holding the tag team titles.
Rodriguez subsequently defeated Chelsea Green in a singles match on the May 15 episode of WWE RAW. She was then attacked by the returning Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler.
