WWE Superstar Titus O’Neil continues to do great things for the world of education.
WWE announced that Titus O’Neil will help kick off a Rock Your School event in Tampa Bay on September 26. O’Neil will also be joined by other great sports franchises and important figures in the Tampa Bay area.
O’Neil also spoke about this big event and what he hopes to accomplish with it.
“We want to use this week to spark more innovative thought around education, community engagement, and school pride,” Titus O’Neil said. “Knowing that those in the teaching profession are often undervalued and underpaid. We want to motivate collaboration with other educators, understanding that no one is alone in this battle.”
Co-founder of Get Your Teach On, Wade King selected the Thaddeus M Bullard Academy as one of the kickoff sites because of the work O’Neil has been doing there.
“Choosing to partner with the Thaddeus M Bullard Academy at Sligh Middle Magnet School was easy because we have worked with Titus O’Neil over the last four years at our teaching and professional development conferences, and we see firsthand that he is a champion of education in our community,” Wade King said. “We want to support schools and programs like Sligh.”
