Xia Li has returned to the ring.
Ahead of the September 18 episode of WWE RAW, WWE taped matches for the September 21 episode of WWE Main Event. As noted by Fightful‘s Sean Ross Sapp, Li competed at the tapings. The match marked her first time in the ring since the July 31 taping of Main Event.
Li has not wrestled on a live event or a show other than Main Event since March 23.
At the tapings, as reported by Sapp, Xia Li faced Tegan Nox. He wrote that Nox was set to face Becky Lynch on WWE RAW, per internal listings, but plans changed.
It’s unclear why Li went so long without wrestling in a match. WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
