Last night on WWE NXT, Becky Lynch fulfilled her ten-year-long dream by becoming the NXT Women’s Champion. Her friend and former faction mate Bayley reacted to the win by The Man.
It was evident that The Man would return to NXT and challenge Tiffany Stratton for her title. The self-proclaimed Buff Barbie had been taking shots at Lynch for several weeks. Thus, Mrs. Big Time settled their differences by battling each other in a one-on-one match for Tiffy’s title.
This was one of the biggest matches in Tiffany Stratton’s career. She put on a tough fight. It seemed like the Buff Barbie did her homework and studied The Man very well. She managed to avoid the Dis Arm Her but sadly was unable to avoid the Man Handle Slam.
After battling each other for over ten minutes, The Man won with the Man Handle Slam.
After the match, Bayley took to Twitter to react to Lynch’s victory. She playfully mocked her friend for taking over a decade to capture the NXT Women’s Championship.
“Took @BeckyLynchWWE long enough #WWENXT,” Bayley tweeted.
With Lynch winning the NXT Title she joins her fellow Four Horsewomen in capturing all the championships in Raw, SmackDown, and NXT.
Charlotte Flair, Mercedes Moné (formerly known as Sasha Banks), Bayley, and now Becky Lynch are all Grandslam Champions.
Out of the four, Charlotte was the first star to return to NXT to capture the NXT Women’s Championship. She defeated Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania. Now, The Man joins her former friend in doing the same.
Bayley now will shift her focus to Iyo Sky’s title match against Asuka on SmackDown next week.
