A new challenge has been laid out for WWE NXT No Mercy.
During the September 12 episode of WWE NXT, Baron Corbin called out Bron Breakker following his vicious attack on Von Wagner the week prior. Corbin initially ran down Breakker for his actions before laughing at Wagner’s pain.
While Corbin was considering paying Breakker’s fine, he doesn’t think the former NXT Champion respects him. Breakker responded by saying he doesn’t need or want it and instead challenged Corbin to a singles match at NXT No Mercy on September 30.
WWE later confirmed the match for No Mercy. However, NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes vs. Ilja Dragunov has been confirmed for the event in Bakersfield, California.
