Luchasaurus faced a major test when he defended the TNT Championship at AEW All Out.
Since Luchasaurus won the title, his place as champion has been disputed, as Christian Cage has claimed that he is the true champion. Darby Allin has been feuding with both men, and he set his sights on the gold. At AEW All Out, Allin challenged Luchasaurus for the title.
Nick Wayne accompanied Allin to the ring, and Cage was in the champion’s corner. Allin took plenty of punishment throughout the match, as Luchasaurus threw him around like a ragdoll. The challenger more than held his own with the big man, as he nearly clinched the win with an avalanche Code Red.
In the end, Cage cost Alin the match, as he hit Wayne with a chair. The distraction took Allin’s eye off the ball, as Luchasaurus hit him with two Tombstones and pinned him with a lariat.
After the match, Luchasaurus and Cage went to attack Allin again, but Shawn Spears and other members of the room made the save.
