All Elite Wrestling delivered an action-packed show with the August 30 episode of AEW Dynamite.
Penta El Zero Miedo challenged Orange Cassidy for the AEW International Championship. Plus, Eddie Kingston put the NJPW STRONG Openweight Championship on the line against Wheeler Yuta.
The results are as follows:
Jon Moxley vs. Komander
Moxley took the fight to Komander right away and overpowered him. He punches Komander in the corner. Komander rallies and takes Moxley down with a hurricanrana. He dives onto Moxley at ringside. Moxley rakes Komander’s back. He dodges a dive from Komander and suplexes him. Moxley maintains the advantage. Komander fires up with some strikes. Moxley catches him as he dives and drops him with a backbreaker. Komander stuns Moxley with a face-buster. Komander gains more momentum.
Moxley blocks a 450 splash with his knees and levels Komander with a lariat. He spikes him with a piledriver. Moxley drills Komander with hammer and anvil elbows. Moxley makes him tap out to an arm-bar.
Winner: Jon Moxley
In a vignette, Orange Cassidy discusses his reign as AEW International Champion and makes it clear that he won’t stop. He turned his attention to Jon Moxley, his potential opponent at AEW All Out.
A post-All In clip shows The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) discussing their loss at AEW All In. FTR walk in and wonder why they didn’t shake their hands. Bullet Club Gold shows up and mocks The Young Bucks. FTR challenges Bullet Club to a match at AEW All Out. The match is confirmed for the pay-per-view.
In an interview, Toni Storm is asked about what happened in the AEW Women’s World Championship at AEW All In. Storm says Saraya went off-script, and now she doesn’t have any friends or any titles. Storm says Wembley went “tits up,” and she can’t trust anyone.
In-Ring Segment: Chris Jericho
Jericho says everyone should be happy after AEW All In. He highlights how successful the weekend was for him and notes that he would never forget it. Jericho says he would like to forget how he treated Sammy Guevara at AEW All In. He calls out Guevara. Guevara comes down. Jericho says he never should have taken his frustration out on Guevara. He notes that he didn’t know whether Guevara did everything he could do to help him win at AEW All In. Jericho tells Guevara he wants to apologize, and he extends a handshake. Guevara shakes his hand, and a little push won’t break them up.
Jericho wonders what he could have done differently and suggests that Guevara could have hit Will Ospreay harder. Guevara responds by saying Jericho could have got it done if he hit the Judas Effect harder. Jericho says that sometimes, when he asks Guevara to do something, it doesn’t turn out the way he envisioned. Guevara fires back by saying he left his pregnant wife to be there for Jericho. Jericho says plenty of people would have killed to be on the show. Guevara says maybe he could have wrestled at AEW All in if he wasn’t so worried about helping Jericho. He takes a shot at Jericho for losing. Jericho brings up Guevara’s loss at AEW Double or Nothing.
Guevara recalls how Jericho became the first AEW World Champion in Chicago, and he lost the title outside of a steakhouse. Jericho tries to defuse the tension and says they should get back to being together and supporting each other. He says they should reunite the Sex Gods and target the tag titles. Jericho says that quest should begin next week. Guevara shakes his hand, so he’s seemingly on-board.
In a promo backstage, Jon Moxley addresses the main event, which will determine his opponent at AEW All Out. He says the wrestler with the biggest bite will leave with the gold on Sunday.
NJPW STRONG Openweight Championship: Eddie Kingston (c) vs. Wheeler Yuta
Kingston and Yuta lock up and feel each other out. Yuta slaps him. Kingston chops Yuta, but the challenger hits an arm-breaker. Yuta continues to target the arm, and he slams it into the ring post. Back in the ring, Yuta grounds Kingston. Yuta stays in control and continues to punish Kingston. Kingston rallies and dives onto Yuta at ringside. He lights Yuta up with a flurry of chops.
Yuta catches Kingston with a German suplex. Kingston dumps Yuta with a suplex. Yuta fires back with another suplex of his own. Kingston and Yuta trade blows. Yuta elbows Kingston’s arm and face. Kingston dumps Yuta with a suplex and drills him with two Back Fists for the win.

Claudio Castagnoli walks by ringside and helps Yuta to the back. Kingston yells after him.
A video package recapped MJF and Adam Cole’s match at AEW All In.
In a post-AEW All In clip, MJF and Adam Cole discuss their win. MJF announces a tag team battle royale on Rampage will determine their challengers at AEW All Out. He also says a tournament will determine his challenger at AEW Grand Slam. MJF then reveals he’s taking a week off.
Backstage, Don Callis questioned Sammy Guevara about his decision to stick with Chris Jericho. Guevara told him to get lost.
In-Ring Segment: Adam Cole
Cole brings up AEW All In and thanks the fans for making it such a special night. He says he and MJF won the ROH World Tag Team Championship, but the night wasn’t perfect, as he lost in the main event. Cole says he knows he’ll get another title shot at some point.
Cole says MJF is banged up, but he’ll be ready for AEW All Out. Roderick Strong and The Kingdom interrupt. Strong asks Cole whether his own neck is less important to Cole. Mike Bennett interrupts Cole and recalls their history together in ROH. Bennett notes that Cole was at his wedding, and they did everything together.
He tells Cole that he cares too much about the fans and what they think about him. Matt Taven says Cole jumped ship for Bullet Club, and then “Florida”, where he propped himself up with other people. Taven says Cole has latched onto MJF, thinking that’s his way to get to the title. Taven says Cole only cares about himself. Cole says MJF is his best friend, but Strong says he can’t accept that. Strong says he’s entering the Grand Slam tournament so he can get a shot at MJF. Cole says that’s a horrible idea, but Strong fires back by saying that he’ll win the tournament because he’s a wrestling legend. Cole says he’s done nothing wrong as they walk away.
In a promo, Alex Abrahantes hypes up Penta El Zero Miedo’s match with Orange Cassidy later in the show. He says Penta will then make Jon Moxley bleed worse than ever has before.
Kris Statlander, Hikaru Shida & Britt Baker vs. Nyla Rose, Marina Shafir & Emi Sakura
Sakura and Shida begin the match. Shida takes Sakura down with a hurricanrana. Baker tags in, and Shafir drills her with a kick. Shafir and Rose double-team Baker. Sakura maintains the advantage. Her team isolates Baker for a stretch, but Statlander tags in and clears house with a flurry of offense. Statlander slams Shafir to the mat. The match breaks down into a chaotic brawl. Baker accidentally kicks Shida. Rose slams Baker. Statlander clotheslines Rose over the ropes. She dives onto everyone at ringside.
Statlander gets Shafir back in the ring and pins her.
Winners: Kris Statlander, Hikaru Shida & Britt Baker
Baker and Shida argue after the match. Ruby Soho attacks Statlander and steals the TBS Championship.
A video package hypes up Shane Taylor challenging Samoa Joe for the ROH World Television Championship at AEW All Out.
Backstage, Don Callis talks through some tape as he and Konosuke Takeshita prepare for Takeshita’s match against Kenny Omega at AEW All Out.
In-Ring Segment: AEW World Trios Champions The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn
Max Caster raps The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn to the ring. Gunn says he has some good news to share, as he announces that “Daddy Ass” is back. He brings up their win at AEW All In. Caster recalls how the Chicago crowd helped take The Acclaimed to the next level. Caster vows to dominate the trios division. He says he wanted to start their reign with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Gunn tells Caster he has a “little one”, in reference to his scissors. Gunn pulls out big scissors and cuts the ribbon.
Bowens says a new era in the trios division has begun. He says this is the “House of Ass.” He says they wear pink in this house. Bowens says he and Caster had a surprise, and he revealed pink titles. They show off the new titles and announce that they will defend the titles on AEW Collision.
The broadcast team announces the cards for the upcoming shows.
AEW International Championship: Orange Cassidy (c) vs. Penta El Zero Miedo (with Alex Abrahantes)
Cassidy and Penta square off and feel each other out. Penta throws Cassidy into a barricade at ringside. Cassidy dives onto Penta at ringside. Penta responds with a dive of his own. The champion catches Penta with Stun-dog Millionaire and gets a two-count with a DDT. Penta takes control with a backstabber. Penta grounds Cassidy and rocks him with a kick. Cassidy rallies and plants Penta with a Canadian destroyer. They both hit each other with another Canadian destroyer. Cassidy hits Beach Break. Penta targets Cassidy’s arm. He gets a near fall with a piledriver on the apron.
Penta snaps Cassidy’s arm and spikes him with the Fear Factor for a near fall. Cassidy rolls Penta up for the win.

Cassidy gets a chair and sits in the ring. He says he’s tired, and his body hurts. Cassidy says he’s here, he’s wrestling, and he’s defending the title. Cassidy says the title means everything to him. He vows to continue the title for as long as he wants. Cassidy says he will always be the champion, and he doesn’t have a catchphrase.
