Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn will defend their Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships at WWE Payback.
As announced during the August 28 episode of WWE RAW, the company, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn will put the titles on the line against The Judgment Day’s Damian Priest and Finn Bálor. The Judgment Day have been feuding with Owens and Zayn for a number of weeks. The group attacked Owens and took him out of action in July, but he returned on the August 21 episode of WWE RAW.
Priest and Bálor scored a win over the reigning champions on the August 21 episode of WWE RAW. There, the Judgment Day duo won the bout via disqualification. Priest also defeated Zayn on the August 28 episode following some timely interference from JD McDonagh.
Owens and Zayn subsequently announced that their bout against Balor and Priest will be a Pittsburgh Steel City Street Fight.
