John Cena is set to make his WWE return this Friday in Hershey, PA on SmackDown and he’s also set to appear at the WWE Superstar Spectacle event in India the week after on September 8.
WWE announced that John Cena and WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins will team up to face Imperium (Giovanni Vinci & Ludwig Kaiser) at the show with Gunther at ringside.
John Cena and Seth Rollins have never teamed together at a WWE show before in a tag team match, but have teamed together with Finn Balor in a 6-man tag match. This is the second match made official for the show as it was previously announced that Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn would defend their Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships against Indus Sher (Veer Mahaan & Sanga).
