A new report provides an update on Calvin Tankman‘s contract with Major League Wrestling.
Tankman, a standout on the independent scene, signed with MLW in June 2020 and debuted in November 2020. He went on to win the MLW World Tag team Championship with EJ Nduka. The duo lost the titles at MLW Blood & Thunder 2023.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reports that Tankman’s MLW contract expires on September 1. However, per Sapp, some MLW sources say his deal could be up already.
Tankman has not wrestled for MLW since the Never Say Never event on July 8. There, he unsuccessfully challenged Jacob Fatu for the MLW National Openweight Championship. Since then, Fatu has remained active on the independent scene.
WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
