MJF On WWE And AEW Setting Records: Wrestling Is Winning, I’m Winning

MJF says he’s winning, as all of professional wrestling is winning.

AEW and WWE are both riding high, as they set records with two major shows. AEW All In has set a new record for tickets distributed. WWE previously set the record with WrestleMania 32 in 2016.

WWE then broke another record. The day that WrestleMania 40 tickets went on sale, the company surpassed their all-time gate record.

MJF took note of this dual success. He wrote that, with both companies setting records, pro wrestling is winning, and the fans are winning. However, the self-proclaimed “Generational Talent” stated that, most important, he is winning too.

The AEW World Champion will headline AEW All In, as he will defend the gold against Adam Cole. WrestleZone will have coverage of the show as it airs.

MJF Comments On The Bidding War Of 2024

MJF previously commented on his looming free agency, which he calls the bidding war of 2024. Speaking with the media after he was given the Key to the Town of Oyster Bay, MJF noted that he believes Tony Khan will do what it takes to keep him in AEW.

“It’s a battle of the Khans, and we’ll see who wins,” MJF said. “But what I will say, right now I am very happy to be the face of my promotion. I’m very happy to be, let’s be honest, the biggest minute-for-minute draw on Wednesday nights by a landslide. No offense everybody else on the roster, it’s just a fact. Tony Khan is very fortunate to have me, and I have a feeling he’s going to do whatever he takes to keep it as such.”

Fans will see “The Devil” on the August 23 episode of AEW Dynamite. WrestleZone will have coverage of the show as it airs.
