The New Day are back, with Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods returning to the world of wrestling with an emphatic win.
The fan-favorite duo arrived tonight by accepting a challenge from The Viking Raiders. Kingston and Woods came down with their usual flair and trash talk, before getting into it with their opponents. In a relatively quick win, The New Day was able to come out on top following a Trouble in Paradise into a Limit Breaker.
For the group, it’s the first time they’ve seen action in several months, dating back to the beginning of the year. Kofi Kingston has been sidelined since March due to an ankle injury that required surgery. Xavier Woods hasn’t been seen since a May taping of WWE RAW.
Of course, the third member of The New Day, Big E, remains out after fracturing his C1 and C6 vertebrae in March 2022. It’s unclear if or when he will return to action, however.
