The August 9 episode of AEW Dynamite will feature a major tag team bout.
The Young Bucks announced that they would be returning their focus to the tag team division on the August 4 episode of AEW Rampage. The Hardys, who had just scored a win in trios action, challenged the Bucks to dive into the deep end by facing them. Matt and Nick Jackson agreed to bout and told The Hardys they would see them on Wednesday.
AEW then confirmed the match for the August 9 edition of AEW Dynamite. The bout will be a rematch from AEW Double or Nothing 2022. There, Matt and Jeff scored the
Additionally, the Lucha Brothers will take on Jon Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli of Blackpool Combat Club. The former AEW World Tag team Champions challenged the winner of the Parking Lot Fight on AEW Rampage to face them, and Blackpool Combat Club scored the win.
As previously announced, FTW Champion Jack Perry will face Rob Van Dam on Wednesday night.
