Best wishes to Robert Gibson.
Per Mike Johnson of PWInsider, WWE Hall of Famer Robert Gibson had hip replacement surgery last week. Despite the surgery, Gibson is still at the Gathering convention in Charlotte, North Carolina, though he is on crutches.
Gibson is advertised for a tag team match where he and Ricky Morton will face The Headbangers. As of this writing, there is no word on whether he will still wrestle.
Gibson and Morton, collectively known as The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express, are widely considered to be one of the greatest tag teams of all time. They have held titles in the NWA, USWA, Jim Crockett Promotions, and other companies. The duo was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2017.
