Zilla Fatu Comments On In-Ring Debut, Says He’s Team Jey Uso

Zilla Fatu comments on his debut and discusses the Bloodline storyline.

Zilla, the son of former WWE star Umaga, made his in-ring debut at the Reality of Wrestling Summer of Champions IX event on July 15.

In an interview with MuscleManMalcolm, Fatu shared his thoughts after the match. When asked to describe how he felt ahead of the bout, he noted that he was nervous, and he wanted to get through it without any hiccups.

“I’m my biggest critic, so I feel like, out of 100%, I’m probably at an 81. I just wish it was at 100%. “Going into it, I was real nervous. I just wanted everything to be perfected and not have any hiccups. God blessed me, and we didn’t have any hiccups tonight. But I still feel like I could have done way better.”

When asked to discuss his journey from the time he started training to his debut, Fatu stated that he didn’t think the match would come soon. He thanked Booker T and the Reality of Wrestling team for their support.

“To be honest, I didn’t know this opportunity was gonna come this fast,” Fatu said. “I didn’t know me having this match was gonna come this fast. But just thanks to the whole Reality of Wrestling for believing in me and my vision, and thanks to [Booker]. He played a big role on getting me on the card, and actually on a flier. I’m blessed to be in this position right now. So thanks to the whole Reality of Wrestling, the whole staff.”

Given his ties to the family, Fatu was also asked about the current Bloodline storyline that continues to generate plenty of buzz, and he made it clear that he would side with Jey Uso over Roman Reigns.

“I got Jey. Team Jey,” he said. “I’m more built on respect and loyalty, so that’s kind of going on. Roman disrespected Jey and Jimmy. But we all family at the end of the day. All families have hiccups, ups and downs. Stay tuned, it’s gonna get crazy.”

Later in the interview, Fatu stated that he’d like to face Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, Solo Sikoa, and Roman Reigns.
