“Jungle Boy” Jack Perry will have nowhere to run on the July 19 episode of AEW Dynamite.
As announced on the July 14 episode of AEW Rampage, HOOK will defend the FTW Championship against Perry on Wednesday. He agreed to give Perry a shot at the gold after “Jungle Boy” said he wouldn’t come back to work unless he got a title match.
Perry has run away from HOOK multiple times since he betrayed his former tag team partner at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door. Their feud will seemingly come to a head when AEW makes its debut at the TD Garden on July 19.
Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite will also feature the Blood & Guts Match between The Elite and Blackpool Combat Club.
The updated card is as follows:
- Blood & Guts Match: Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta, Konosuke Takeshita & PAC vs. The Golden Elite (Kenny Omega, Hangman Page, The Young Bucks & Kota Ibushi)
- FTW Championship: HOOK vs. “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry
