Hiroshi Tanahashi will make his House of Glory debut in a title match against Matt Cardona.
Tanahashi will challenge Cardona for the House of Glory Heavyweight Championship at HOG High Intensity on Friday, August 18. The event will air on Premier Streaming Network, and tickets are available here.
The match will pit Cardona against Tanahashi, an eight-time IWGP Heavyweight Champion and one-third of the reigning NEVER Openweight Six-Man Tag Team Champions. In a tweet, Cardona quipped that Tanahashi may be “The Ace” of Japan, but he is the “Johnny Ace” of the indies.
Cardona will also aim to add to his collection of titles at Wrestling REVOLVER Heat Em Up on August 3, as he will challenge Jake Crist for the REVOLVER World Championship.
