Booker T says LA Knight is going places.
Speaking on The Hall of Fame with Booker T and Brad Gilmore, Booker noted that LA Knight has been generating a lot of buzz lately, even after his loss at WWE Money in the Bank.
“Everybody‘s talking about LA Knight, and everybody’s pretty much coming to the same consensus,” Booker T said. “Yes, he’s a throwback. He’s a guy that’s definitely taking from what worked back in the day and bringing it today’s wrestling. I get it, what’s old is new again. He had a huge ovation at Madison Square Garden.
“This guy is gonna is get over, whether he’s got a belt around his waist, or whether he doesn’t have a belt around his waist. He’s gonna get over. Put the rocket on LA Knight. Send him straight to the moon. That’s just my opinion.”
LA Knight recently addressed coming up short at Money In The Bank during a recent WWE live event. Knight said he will be a champion one day, with or without winning the briefcase.
“I didn’t need that case either. Just like I made myself a top man in this industry in the same way, with or without a case,” Knight explained, “I will make myself a champion sooner or later, and there ain’t nobody that can stop me. That’s not an insult. That’s just a fact of life.”
