Wes Lee will defend the gold at WWE NXT Great American Bash.
On the July 4 episode of NXT, Mustafa Ali defeated Tyler Bate in a hard-fought singles bout. After the match, he challenged NXT North American Champion Wes Lee to face him at the premium live event on July 30.
WWE confirmed the bout in a tweet on July 9.
Ali has regularly appeared on NXT since the May 30 episode of WWE NXT, and he quickly set his sights on the title.
Lee won the title at NXT Halloween Havoc 2022, where he emerged victorious in a Ladder Match for the title.
