Steve Maclin Injured, Out Of IMPACT Slammiversary PPV

The IMPACT Slammiversary pay-per-view card is going under a massive change due to an injury to Steve Maclin.

IMPACT Wrestling announced this morning via a press release that Steve Maclin suffered a “serious injury” last weekend during IMPACT’s Down Under tour of Australia. Maclin was scheduled to team with Bully Ray against PCO and Scott D’Amore in a grudge match.

Due to the injury, Bully Ray will announce his new tag team partner this Monday morning on Busted Open Radio.

IMPACT Director of Authority Santino Marella commented on the injury and continued to hype up the tag team match for next weekend’s Slammiversary pay-per-view.

“First and foremost, everyone at IMPACT Wrestling wishes Steve Maclin a full and speedy recovery,” Santino Marella said. “Whoever Bully Ray brings aboard as his new tag team partner will step into a violent fight, that’s for sure. PCO is fearless and nearly unstoppable; Scott D’Amore is bent on revenge against Bully Ray, so any new partner for Bully Ray also will feel the wrath of D’Amore and his 30 years of pro wrestling knowledge.”
